Join us for the 2027 Bras d’Or Lakes Cruise, a journey into the heart of Cape Breton’s spectacular inland sea. Designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Bras d’Or Lakes offer a uniquely sheltered, warm, and serene cruising ground perfect for exploration. This cruise is more than just a sailing trip; it is a return to the roots of the Cruising Club of America, visiting the very waters where the Club’s founders first envisioned an organization dedicated to the spirit of offshore adventure.
The fleet will then converge at St. Peter’s on July 24 for registration and an official opening dinner. From July 26 through August 3, we will explore the Lakes through a balanced itinerary of group events—including the traditional sunflower raft-up at Little Harbour and celebrations in Baddeck—alongside "Captain’s Choice" days. The cruise will conclude with a closing ceremony in Big Harbour on August 3, with final departures on August 4.
